Kali is a contemporary pagan and animist. She embodies the understanding that objects, places, and creatures all possess a distinct spiritual essence. And that animals, plants, rocks, rivers, weather systems - and even human conscious craftings when embedded with conscious intent - are animated and alive.

Animism and celtic paganism encompasses the beliefs that all material phenomena have agency, that there exists no hard and fast distinction between the spiritual and physical (or material) world and that soul or spirit or sentience exists not only in humans but also in other animals, plants, rocks, geographic features such as mountains or rivers or other entities of the natural environment: water elementals, vegetation deities, tree dryads and that they speak to those who deeply listen.

Origin & Consideration

All information pertaining to the spiritual attributes of the native animals and their glyphs are gifted through connection to spirit in a myriad of expressions.

We of the Wild is a consciously ethical business. We stand behind our duty to minimise impact within the areas of sustainability; social, economic & environment. Within those parameters we;

    • ensure materials are ethically sourced.
    • do not support the abuse of animals both native (threatened by human interference & impacts) and domesticated (bred as a commodity for human consumption and entertainment).
    • use chemical free natural dyes where possible as well as recycled unbleached paper for product packaging.
    • send parcels in compostable packaging and avoid single use plastic.
    • do not engage in any activities that promote cruelty toward another living being, promoting vegan values and will not work with pearls, silk or leather or any other product sourced from animals.
    • promote free ethical trade, and do not endorse outsourcing to or supporting any businesses who are not aligned with our business values.
    • commit to all our creations being locally designed and handmade, ensuring our carbon footprint is as small as we can manage.
