Care Instructions

Our creations are .925 sterling silver alchemically partnered with brass.

Please note the following care instructions to ensure they are well loved so they will last lifetimes.

SAFE :>> Avoid contact with chemicals & cleaning agents such as dishwashing liquids, shampoos and chlorine as they can discolour both the metal and the stones.

WEAR :>> Be mindful of when you wear your jewellery. Swimming, showering, sleeping or bathing in your jewellery may cause damage along with playing sport or engaging in wildly vigorous activities which... may be soul-shaking, but could create breakage. Some stones are soft and in time can become fractured or discoloured from excessive exposure to heat and to water submersion.

STORE :>> It is best to store your creation away from other jewellery.

LOVE :>> Handle your creation with care to avoid breakage. Give them a little polish from time to time. Using wax or a gentle polish will keep the blended metals lustrous and bright for years to come.

CLEAN :>> Silver oxidises and bronze weathers naturally and both will require cleaning. There are a few pointers on the best ways to keep silver clean:

    • Purchase a high-quality silver polishing cloth.

      • Anti-tarnish bags can be purchased to store items to ensure they stay shiny.

        • Avoid using commercial cleaners as they can be abrasive and scratch the surface of the bronze.

Please also note as bronze weathers, and is left unpolished it can develop a light green patina similar to the way silver oxidises to black.

Although you can take your jewellery to be professionally cleaned here is an easy DIY recipe you can use to clean them at home and restore it to its original shine.
